The Event

The Chrysanthemum Ball brings together more than 400 of our community’s philanthropic leaders including full-time and seasonal residents, retired executives, corporate sponsors and physicians in support of Cleveland Clinic Martin Health. The ball has earned a reputation for providing high-quality entertainment, fine cuisine and a spirited atmosphere in an extraordinary surrounding. Since its inception in 1995, the Chrysanthemum Ball has raised millions for critical hospital projects, advanced training and innovative equipment. Gifts made to the ball save lives and transform the care Cleveland Clinic Martin Health provides well into the future.

Reception: 6:00 p.m. | Dinner & Dancing 7:00 p.m.

The Caregiver Innovation Project

Patients first is the core of our mission.

Quality, safety and patient experience are our top priorities.

Our Caregivers shape the patient experience.

Our human resource is our greatest resource.

We must invest in our people, show them they are valued and invest in their future.

U.S. labor workforce participation has steadily decreased in the past 20 years, leading to a more competitive labor market and rendering experience-based hiring practices inadequate. Cleveland Clinic is dedicated to solving this problem by developing its new and existing caregivers by equipping them with the appropriate skills for career growth.

This priority is no less significant in Martin County. Cleveland Clinic relies on specialty technicians to continue our reputation of world-renowned care. Unfortunately, there are simply not enough caregivers with the required advanced training in the pipeline to fill all of the important roles. At Cleveland Clinic Martin Health, we want to recruit and retain talent, and we want them to be happy in the workplace.

A gift to Cleveland Clinic Martin Health can help develop a pipeline for workforce development to recruit and retain the best caregivers our community has to offer. With your support, we can accelerate talent pipeline development for critical and high demand roles through educational programs. By identifying and developing talent based on their ability to be successful, rather than their current experience and educational attainments, we can promote a skills-based culture that helps recruit and retain exceptional caregivers.

Title Here

While Jacoby and her twin, Jenna, were still in utero, Cleveland Clinic Children’s doctors discovered Jacoby had a severe, life-threatening condition. She was born at 31 weeks and given a 5% chance to live. She then spent 10 months in the NICU and 6 months in rehabilitation therapy. Throughout Jacoby’s medically complex journey, the Arnold family has worked closely with the palliative care team at Cleveland Clinic Children’s to ensure Jacoby’s success.

Jacoby is now 8 years old and will be going into 2nd grade. She loves everything about her school, including her teacher, therapists and classmates. Two subjects she most enjoys are Music Therapy and English Language Arts. Jacoby's family recently moved to a farm, so she loves to help with the chores and take care of the goats, chickens, duck and rabbit.

NATIONALLY RANKED AND LOCALLY TRUSTED

Cleveland Clinic Children’s is Northeast Ohio's locally trusted

children's hospital and is nationally ranked in 9 pediatric specialties.

The annual golf outing is one of Cleveland Clinic Children's signature fundraising events. All proceeds raised will support lifesaving research and programs for our youngest patients.
